As of August 2025, Frontier Electric Apprenticeship and Training is at full capacity for the 2025-26 academic year. Please check back in May 2026 for application inquiries. Until then, we are available during office hours to answer any questions related to the apprenticeship.

Many Ways to Apply!

Before reading further, we recommend you look at our program standards. They work as a playbook for how apprentices advance to become journeymen.

If you are coming with previous relevant experience and/or training, and meet the listed requirements, you may submit an application for apprenticeship, as well as a copy of your resume to don@frontiereow.com or visit us in person to drop off your documents.

  • Have a high school diploma from a school accredited by a State Education Agency or one of the following
    • A GED with a qualifying score of 2500
    • High school Equivalency Score of 600 or higher if taken after January 1, 2014
    • A two year Associates Degree or higher from an institution accredited by a State Education Agency
  • Be over the age of 18
  • Own a valid driver’s license
  • Physically and mentally able to safely perform or learn to safely perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

If you are coming with limited experience and training, you may apply for a position as a material handler through our company, Frontier Electric of Washington. Working as a material handler will allow for you to experience the work environment of the company, learn the hard and soft skills required to be an apprentice, as well as familiarize yourself with the people and places you will further know as an apprentice. This position is posted as needed on the website, frontiereow.com.
